It’s weird that I don’t remember watching movies on the airplane on my trip to the UK. This was a blurry month, unfortunately.
(2022) Thor: Love and Thunder
- It was fine, for some reason it felt like it didn’t have the same energy as Ragnarok or as funny.
(2021)Marcel the Shell with Shoes On
- Beautiful and highly quotable. Just a gem. Glad I got to catch this in the movie theater.
(1953) Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
- Had never seen this before. Now I know where the iconic “diamonds are a girl best friends…” scene comes from. Camp and gay as hell. Very fun.
(1999) Eyes Wide Shut
- Only saw most of this, still have the last little bit to watch. I hadn’t revisited this since I saw it in film school years ago. The stilted acting and the visuals definitely felt like a spiral descent (as intended.) Need to remind myself to finish watching this soon.
